Wanting to do a front end swap
I've been looking to do a front end swap for a while on my bike to a rc51 setup but rims are hard to find for the rc setup and i was wondering what would need to be done to use the superhawk rim with the forks other then different bearings and spacers

I suspect that at the very least I will need new spacers and maybe bearings as well. I've not reached that point yet. SP rotors bolt up to the CBR wheel, though I think there is a .5mm off-set difference between the SP and the CBR. Also might be an issue with the width of the mounting surfaces for the carrier on the wheel hub. Another issue to work through.
If I were to do it again I would save my pennies and wait till I had enough to buy a whole front end of choice complete.

Yeah RC wheel are getting rare. As for the brake rotors, the the 04-05 CBR rotors are a direct bolt on for the RC wheels with no offset issues. I have run CBR rotors on my RC set up from the time I installed it

if you are absolutely adamant on using VTR wheel on RC front, you will need to have caliper brackets made ($$$$) to accommodate the VTR's smaller front rotors ... the bearings and spacers can likely be made to work (again, custom pieces?)
To reiterate what has been stated in previous threads, the easiest USD swap which allows you to keep the stock VTR wheel and rotors is the 2004-05 ZX10 swap (hence my prior posting of the links; though a USD CBR600RR front end could possibly be used though that would require some machining of the calipers to fit the smaller front rotors; not sure about the fork length on that set-up, however); ALL others require you to use a different wheel and rotors (which, from my reading of the question is precisely what the OP is trying to avoid) or some custom machining (as noted above)
so, ask yourself, how much time and money are you willing to invest because, in the end, anything can be made to fit...

Now if you have a RC front end and need a wheel, I can check my sources to see if I can find you one.
If you don't already have the forks, there are much easier swaps unless you have a need for the RC stuff.... then also remember you can ask any questions about the swap as that is what I have on my bike.....though it was done back when you could still get the RC stuff for a reasonable price.

Or you can do a CBR100RR complete front end. Super easy swap and better than the RC (IMHO).

I'm guessing that the 10mm difference does not matter.
This is more for a general FYI as I have RC rotors for my swap.

IIRC, 310mm were used in 04-05 (CBR1000RR) and the 06-07 used 320mm... Not sure about the later years (Ie. 2nd gen 1000)

Sounds like I had the years reversed..... It has been a long time since I picked them up but the 320mm rotors from a bike that does not radial calipers are a direct bolt on for an RC front end.
