Axle Bobbins / Sliders

Anyone ever try fitting some axle sliders on the Hawk? I just figured out how they work with a long bolt going through the axle and the sliders on each end. I wonder which model would be compatible?

They might not protrude enough to offer any protection though since the pipes and passenger pegs stick out so far on both sides.

I use them on my SuperMoto and they do work....

Some SuperMoto guys use a small set of Skate Board wheels and a threaded rod of course with nice nut hardware

Thats a good idea. Maybe I'll take some measurements next spring when I ride again. I'm DUN til it gets warm again. I have always ridden in the cold, rain, and cold and rain, til I wrecked pulling out of a parking lot with cold tires and spun around to the ground. Time to pull it apart and paint it. Maybe I'll look into a cage.

Ok Reaper...don't make me call you out. Have you checked your steering head bearings? Maybe they are locked up and that's why you went STRAIGHT through that turn!

Wha??? Not riding this weekend?!

Not sure about the sliders. Wouldn't the axle have to be hollow for them to work that way?
