I'm pissed of too!
I did heaps to my bike when I was working away from home.
One of the first things I did when I got to my new place of work 2300Klms from home was ship the Storm up and I went mental.
Nothing better to do I removed the motor from the frame and it started.
J.E high comp pistons , decked head, lightened flywheel, 4 degree ignition advancer, Dynojet kit without the slides drilled after drilling slides and finding out it was shithouse. Lucky I had a spare set of carbs on hand for a quick swap of the slides to find it good across all rev ranges.
An electric water pump was fitted and as I had already fitted a set of cans I was done.
Now it was time to ride it and the difference was astounding.
It revved really freely and felt strong .
I I wish I had Dynoed the bike after each mod to see what it did but I didn't and it is a regret.
I know that what I did was a vast improvement but am still curious. Dyno time here in OZ is prohibitive and my thoughts were to put the money into the bike. Too much probably but I don't care!
A year later-and it just gets better.
I ride a lot of bikes and I can honestly say that the Storm is by far and away the most engaging.
Maybe it's the carbs, who knows? All I know is that it is a great bike to tinker with and then enjoy the fruits of your labour.
Every little thing that you do to the Storm translates into noticeable feedback.
P.S, I looked outside of the Man Cave and thought I saw a Yeti!
Back to the Storm.
More bikes please!

kenmoore: not much to say, Arrow titanium full exhaust with overbore. I was lucky to find them from local seller. I believe Team Rumi used them for racing. Mikstr had them in hand and sold, maybe there is another member with them.
Pipes were horribly loud, I had to buy db killers to get human sound :-)
NZSpokes: here is bit more info, this conversion is a bit crazy, full front upside down with ligher wheels makes more sense ...

I want to encourage everyone to vote in this months poll. Lets make this a close one. I usually don't vote in these poles as all the bikes entered are great. At the risk of seeming biased (which really I am), lloydie's bike is so well done. Lime green is not my first choice in color, but he has done a stellar job in getting all the details to work in concert. Beautiful. I would certainly be proud to own that ride.
