Erno - Love it that pic & wish it was me
I watched the 1st race on the web - most of the USA does not have the SBK feed this year.
I believe its broadcast via beIN Sport TV.
I think us Yanks can watch on there site
Anyway - Erno watch out for Lions in June....

So you actually went to the race? On bein sports I SAW a superhawk at the track. If I ever have time I really want to get to WSBK or motogp race. I guess when I stop doing like 30 something races a year myself.
Great pic, how was the whold race experience?

Back in 1994 before Philip island, I was in Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney and watched Mick Doohan wins the world championship. That final race another Aussie took second place Daryl Beattie, what an awesome race that was, the whole experience and all the races...... I even got to meet Mick at one point, great bloke
Not sure how is it now days in Philip Island, but I was able to walk all around the track during the race and had the chance to see specific turns in close up through the fence, got to see crashes and what have you within 20 meters distances on the toughest turns, that was a beautiful race track.

I rode the VTR to MotoGP @ Indy in '08, that was awesome
I went to SBK in '07 in France and saw Toseland win the championship. (I went to France for Rugby World Cup & realized the day after the game that the last race of the season was @ Magny Cours)

Great 3 days of racing, plenty of thrills and spills.
Its my 3rd time at the wsbk, its a more relaxed atmosphere,if you want to go from main straight over to siberia corner, just jump on your bike and ride around.
Speed limit 20kph no helmet required, beats walking.
Here are some more photos
Up at lukey heights
Main straight
You guys might know more about this made in USA ,its called a Hellcat $55k aus
What can you say
Honda girls, think the guy on the right was checking me out
A Vincent racing in the historics ,built in OZ Been told $100k bike
And me and my mates fueling up to head home
Hope you likey
cheers guys
PS NHSH Im heading to the Good ol USA, W/coast in late June ,Its a pity should of made it in May the Aussie V8's hit Texas.

Yep, the hell cat is a Confederate motorcycles, they are from the deep south and there bikes actually are really well made, had a chance to ride one and hell it is light weight and good handling. Nothing like the usual custom made heavy crap bikes other small manufacturers do here.
Awesome pictures
