Interesting Read on Dan Kyle
Some of you may have noticed I talk about Dan from time to time. For those of you who are unfamiliar with him I was forwarded this article.
It's an interesting read and just shows again why Dan is the guy to call if you need some help sorting your bike.

Good story.
Bob Hayashida was Dan's teammate when they were developing the VFR750R (RC30), that got on the podium in the '84 Daytona 200. Dan did the engine work and Bob did the chassis.
I remember when Bob went, but didn't really grasp the significance of what they had done. Bob stopped racing and went to college to study Mechanical Engineering after that. When I met him, he was building a CB900F engine in the dining room of his condo, in college. He started back up racing CBR600-F2 a few years after college. When the VTR came out, he got super fired up. It was at that time that he was starting the partnership with Moriwaki and was partially sponsored by HRC, as was Roger Ditchfield, in the UK.
I've been consulting with Roger on my RC51. Another super guy!
